தமிழ் சினிமாவில் பாப்புலர் இயக்குநர்களில் ஒருவராக வலம் வருபவர் பிரபு சாலமன். இவர் இயக்கத்தில் உருவாகியிருக்கும் புதிய படம் ‘செம்பி’. இந்த படம் இன்று (டிசம்பர் 30-ஆம் தேதி) திரையரங்குகளில் ரிலீஸாகியுள்ளது.
இதில் ‘குக் வித் கோமாளி’ புகழ் அஷ்வின் குமார், கோவை சரளா, தம்பி இராமையா ஆகியோர் கதையின் முக்கிய கதாபாத்திரங்களில் நடித்துள்ளனர். இதற்கு பாப்புலர் இசையமைப்பாளர்களில் ஒருவரான நிவாஸ்.கே.பிரசன்னா இசையமைத்துள்ளார்.
